Help for the elderly
Ukraine has one of the highest proportions of older people in the world: nearly 10 million of its population of about 41 million, almost a quarter, are aged over 60.
We at HELP UKRAINE HERE provide humanitarian assistance to older people of Ukraine. We bring food, medicine, and hygiene supplies for older people, their families, and communities.
Help for those who have lost their homes by helping them to rebuild
Estimates vary, but some 1.5 million homes may have been damaged or destroyed due to the conflict.
Help for children
The Ukraine war is causing widespread suffering, anxiety and distress among affected children, many of whom have been separated from their families and friends, had schooling disrupted and lived for months in cold underground bunkers. (UNICEF 2024).
Helping animals
thousands of animals have been left stranded. Destroyed homes, painful untreated wounds, and a constant search for enough food to survive – these are just a few of the daily struggles dogs, cats, and other animals in Ukraine face after the country was invaded, and their numbers grow with each day the bloody conflict continues.
