ABOUT US
As a Ukrainian living in Switzerland, I felt compelled to respond,when the war in Ukraine began,. An organisation in Zurich sought volunteers to aid in collecting, organizing, and distributing assistance for Ukraine. Without hesitation, I answered their call, eager to contribute in any way possible.
Over time, I realised that establishing my own initiative would allow me to maximize my impact in saving lives. With my intimate knowledge of Ukrainian life and operations, acquired from years of living and working in Kyiv, I understood the urgency and the most effective means of delivering aid, minimizing waste and inefficiency.
With the unwavering support of my family, who painted a huge banner reading “Help Ukraine Here” we hung up this banner on the fence near our home in Switzerland. The response was overwhelming every week, numerous individuals approached us, eager to lend their support to our cause, donating items, sorting and packing.
Within a remarkably short time, with the assistance of devoted family and friends, we filled our first truck with humanitarian aid bound for Ukraine. Collaborating with several like-minded drivers,I embarked on the challenging 17 hour road journey to the Polish / Ukraine border, determined to deliver aid where it was needed most.
Since our inaugural shipment in 2022, our efforts have culminated in the delivery more than 50 tons of vital assistance to Ukraine. With each shipment, I personally accompany the aid, ensuring it reaches those most in need.
Through these endeavors, my hope is to provide a beacon of hope and solidarity to the people of Ukraine during their time of greatest need.
In 2023 I started official the NGO, HELP UKRAINE HERE.
